With this all-metal, hand-held Stand 'n Plant Planter/Transplanter, one person can plant or transplant a host of different crops into prepared seedbeds, all from a standing position. The procedure involves dropping the plant in the planting tube; poking it through the plastic cover or into the bare ground, which makes a 3 inch wide, 4 inch deep conical hole; squeezing the handle trigger to release the plant at a 4 inch depth, then pulling the device up and out and reloading. There are no discs or other moving parts that might otherwise clog or break.
