Earth Auger/Transporter
The Earth Auger/Transporter is a three-wheeled apparatus that holds an engine-driven auger to drill holes (up to 19 inches deep) for planting Christmas or young trees, shrubs, berry bushes, vineyards, etc.; for setting fence posts; and for other lawn/garden/nursery-related tasks. Powered by a 50cc engine, the auger bit mounts below (and the engine above) a vibration-absorbing plate that spans the handles of the device's frame between the larger front wheel and two smaller rear wheels. Drilling is accomplished by applying downward pressure on the handles, which raises the front of the spring-hinged U-shaped frame, causing the rotating bit to auger into the ground. (The Transporter can be purchased without the engine and/or auger if the user already has a power auger).
