The SandPad All-Terrain Stabilizer is a 6- or 8-inch-diameter flexible, shore-hardened rubber disc with a stem into which the tip of crutches, canes, or walkers is inserted to provide a wide base of stability for safer and easier travel across all types of terrain (e.g., sand, grass, gravel, snow). The 6-inch disc has a 3-inch-wide flat-bottom center with the rest being slightly concave with beveled triangular drainage vents, which prevent sand, water, etc. from settling on the top. (The 8-inch version has a 4-inch flat center.) The product is designed to slide onto standard 1-inch-diamater tips; if less than that, a pre-sized tape insert will be included with one's order.
