Drive-Thru Electrified Gate
With a Drive-Thru Electrified Gate, when a vehicle nudges its horizontal arms (single or dual, depending on made/model), they swing open until the vehicle has passed through than return to their original position. The arms are flexible fiberglass rods covered in electrically conductive rubber and are length-adjustable. The gate is either linked to the existing electric fence system or operates separately via battery or solar unit (again, depending on make/model). A mechanism disconnects it from the power source when it opens and re-connects when it closes. Some types feature rubber-coated electrified streamers that dangle down from the arms to prevent smaller animals from passing under.
