Bowhead REACH Electric Bike
The Bowhead REACH is a three-wheeled electric adaptive bike that is designed to navigate rough terrain, including narrow trails, measuring 26.5" from center-to-center of the front wheels. With an articulating front-end, it can reportedly drive over rocks, roots, and rough, uneven terrain while keeping the rider perpendicular on slopes up to 35 degrees. A fat-bike rear wheel is designed to provide ample traction and 7.5" of suspension, while the two standard front wheels provide 3" of dual suspension with shocks. Its lithium battery-powered 3,000-watt electric motor reportedly has a single-charge range of 15 to 30 miles (depending on battery size). The rider is secured by a kite-boarding harness (with swivel-seat mounting upgrade optional) and leg straps.
