Ditching/Backfilling Attachment
Black and yellow skid steer in yard with an attachment looking like a half-circle with two arms attaching one third of the way in from the sides. Attachment can be raised or lowered with 2 hydraulic pistons.

This Ditching/Backfilling Attachment can be used in either push or pull fashion. The tool's half-circle design is designed to carve out a swale or ditch, feather the sides of a trench, level a pile, fill a hole, pull up rocks, etc. Changing its pitch determines how shallow or deep the dig. Made of 1/2-inch steel, it reportedly works with most any type of loader (e.g., skid-steer, tractor, backhoe, payloader) that has a quick-attach connector. Although usually 61/2 feet wide, the attachment can be custom fabricated in widths from 4 to 12 feet.
