The Fence Buddy is also used to open and close tight-wire gates. A ratchet strap tie-down mechanism loops around the gateposts then ratchets the gate tight. Additional attachments on the ratchet strap allow the device to be used for stretching broken fence wires. Clamps fasten onto the wires so they can be ratcheted close together and repaired.
