The e.fix Wheelchair Power Add-On is an electric drive system that turns any manual chair into a lightweight power chair, attaining speeds up to 4 miles per hour. While remaining foldable and portable, the chair can be switched from manual to power drive with a turn of the wheel hubs (which house motor, brakes, clutch, and gears). The system comes with programmable ergonomic joystick with LCD panel, 7.2 amp battery (providing a driving range up to 5 miles per charge), and battery charger. Optional accessories include charging adapter, attendant joystick mount, and anti-tippers. Two models are available—the E20, with fully programmable joystick and four drive-wheel size options, and the E19, with limited-programmable joystick and two drive-wheel size options.
