One-Hand Support Bar
The One-Hand Support Bar, developed by Dave Gullacher of the Prairie Ag Machinery Institute (Humboldt, Saskatchewan), mounts in the center of the ladder that runs to the top platform of a combine cab. Straddling the device for maximum stability, the operator with one hand grips and slides his hand up the bar with-out releasing his grip as he climbs the ladder. A similar support bar would be effective on any ladder.
