JCB Skid-Steer and Track Loaders
The bucket on JCB Skid-Steer and Track Loaders have a support arm on only one side, thus allowing access to the cab through a side door instead of over the bucket. This design also reportedly allows for significantly improved visibility over traditional skid steer designs. The controls are all operated by joysticks, the left controlling drive functions (i.e., steering and speed), and the right controlling loader and bucket functions. The hydraulic quick hitch allows the operator to change attachments, such as grapples, sweepers, forestry cutting heads, etc., without exiting the cab.
