Three Point Hitch Caddy
Three Point Hitch Caddy

Duane Glasgow of Buffalo, IL, created this Three Point Hitch Caddy for those who farm limited acreage with a utility tractor, ATV (or even lawn tractor), and downsized field implements. Weighing about 450 pounds, it has a three-point hitch in the back for hooking up the implements and utilizes a battery-powered actuator to raise/lower, rather than hydraulics. Calling it "basically a quick-hitch on wheels," Glasgow pairs the caddies with commercially manufactured Yetter two- and four-row no-till planters and with a 15-foot boom sprayer he designed. With different seed plates, the planter can plant a variety of crops (from milo and sunflowers to garden peas, beans, and sweet corn), while the sprayer works well for lawn service businesses.
