An inexpensive alternative to cam tensioning and stretch cords, the Figure 9 Rope Tightener achieves and maintains high rope tension for securing all types of objects (e.g., tarps, animals, young trees). The tool eliminates the hassle of tying and adjusting knots and controls the release of high tension when untying. One simple move locks or unlocks the end of the rope with no slipping. Made of anodized aluminum, the product accommodates 5/8" to 5/16" rope and has a 300 pound load limit. Instructions for the two alternative attaching systems (fixed-end and loop) are laser-engraved on the face of the tool.
